2024 6U/8U In House Softball Registration


Welcome to the 2024 6U/8U In-House Registration with the 

STMA Girls Fastpitch Association

6U – Girls born in 2017-2018 - $95 + $60 for fundraiser cards (see more info below) Play on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

8U – Girls born in 2015 and 2016 - $125 + $60 for fundraiser cards (see more info below) Play Mondays and Wednesdays.

Our In-House League provides an excellent opportunity for your daughter to be introduced to fastpitch softball. Learning the fundamentals of the game, sportsmanship, being a good teammate, and having fun are the goals at this level. The league plays two nights a week, with practice one night and a game the other. Practice starts in May, typically around the first week.

At the 6U level practices coaches will run drills to help players learn the fundamentals of the softball game.  Practices will focus on hitting, throwing and catching for 6U players.  In order for the season to be successful, each team will be in need of one head coach, two assistant coaches and parent volunteers.  There will be training opportunities for coaches to attend before practices begin.  If you are interested in coaches, please indicate this on your player's registration form. 

At the 8U level, the girls will play with the blue flinger pitching machine during games, it will no longer be player/coach pitch. We have found from previous seasons that this keeps the game moving very fast. It allows the girls playing in the field way more defensive opportunities and keeps the kids engaged. Each player will be placed on a team. The team will practice one night a week and play games the other night of the week. Games will be played in STMA, Rogers, Rockford, Otsego, and Buffalo.

This registration is for our In-House softball options only.  If you are interested in 8U Travel, please use the Travel registration to register.



Late sign-ups will only be accepted if there is room for more players on teams. A late fee of $50 will be charged after registration deadlines. 

This registration session will allow you to sign consents and complete contact registration information.  You will be billed the total registration fee plus the $60 for fundraiser cards through Quickbooks. Please check your emails for the invoice.

Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.

Fundraising Cards: This year, each player in our 6U/8U in house program will be asked to sell three fundraising cards to help with our program. Your daughter will be given three cards to sell at $20 a piece. Once you sell those cards, you can keep the money for them. More details will be emailed to registered participants regarding when you will receive your fundraiser cards.

Volunteer Fee: A $150 Volunteer fee check for each EWCFL/In-House participant registered will need to be turned in at Picture Day. Volunteer checks are destroyed when volunteer hours are complete. Volunteer hours required are two hours per player participating in In-House. You will receive information on how to sign up for volunteer (DIBS) hours in a future email once registration is complete.

The season will include station based practices and games. 6U will be held from 6-7 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The season will include some games against local associations


8U In-House

2 Nights per week (1 game and 1 practice)

April 29th, as long as fields are open

End of season tournament will take place June 22-23

8U In House will play on Mondays and Wednesdays. Each date will either be a game or practice.
